When we went to Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel ornament Bob Ross

Besides eating a hot and hearty lunch, when we went to Cracker Barrel we of course browsed in the store. Look who I found hanging out with Elvis. It's Bob Ross, with a picture of his "happy little trees". I think the ornament was about six inches tall. This was the only Bob Ross, but I did not buy him. I did buy ornaments and I will post pictures in another discussion, soon. I will also post other pictures of ornaments that were "different". Do you collect Christmas Tree ornaments? If so, what kind?

I mostly collect star ornaments as a nod to my husband's Finlander heritage. They do lots of stars.

I loved Bob Ross! My late Papaw would sit and watch his show with Mindy and me. I used to collect unusual ornaments until Diana put up her own tree. She had her own ornaments, and there really wasn’t room for mine. So I put them on my own tree until I gave my (purple) tree to Amyra. Now, I just have a foot tall tree with ornaments already attached. I’m pretty happy with it.

That's really cute. I never was an ornament collector. Now we have boxes and boxes of Christmas decorations; but we don't use them anymore. Have a good day.

I have lots of things, some of which I inherited or was given by others. I am always looking for new ways to use them.

We don't really have many "special" Christmas tree ornaments, but some have at least some meaning. Liked Bob Ross when I was a kid.

Some of the kids at school still look up to Bob Ross. I have lots of plain, non exceptional ornaments. I am old. I have a lot.

@GardenGerty Interesting that Ross really has stood the test of time. Watching him paint was a big highlight of my mornings on PBS back in the day.

I don't collect them but I have a few nice ones. It's hard to find somewhere here for a Christmas tree.
