Well, my daughter got another pet. However, she can't have one in her apartment, so he stays with me. She visits him a couple of times a week, and he loves to see her coming. However, he is really attached to me. He follows me everywhere. He is a German-Shepherd/Black Lab mix. He is hyper, but such a sweet boy. I am not going to want him to leave when she gets a new place where she can have him. My favorite breed of dog has always been a cocker spaniel. But this little guy has won my heart. If trained properly, German Shepherds make great pets. He is only 10 weeks old and already protective of the family.
What is your favorite dog breed?

I have owned several different dog breeds. They are all unique. It is best to find out about a particular breed before owning one. And even then, each dog has its own personality, and the only way to learn about that specific dog is by taking care of him/her.

I have Luna, my German Shepherd companion. German Shepherds are not only my favorite dog breed, they are the only breed I could have. I don´t have problems with different human races, but I´m picky with dogs.

There is an older couple from our church who will only own German Shepherds. They are loyal dogs.

I have a friend in NY who has a parrot. That thing is old and still active and talkative. I think it might live forever lol.

I'd never have a dog for various reasons but I do like Golden Retrievers and Golden Labradors. I'm known some lovely Maltese-Shih Tzu crosses too.

That's a good mix for a puppy, I use to have 1 that look
just like this 1 & like you said if he's trained right will make
a great watch dog, BUT with him living with you & not her
as he grows up he's going to be more your dog than her's.
