Good Veteran's Day morning, myLot!

...Or "Armistice Day" or whatever you grew up calling it depending on your generation.
I have an appointment to go to in the early afternoon, but I have a few hours before I go to that.
I got a "Happy Birthday, old timer." text from my brother. 
Eh. Lilttle brothers can be brats, even when they're in their 50's. He is a whopping year and eleven months younger than me--but he's always been a tease.
I evidently have a present coming in the mail--so I've been told--
, so I'm looking forward to that.
Of all things, it's raining today! That will most certainly put a damper (no pun intended) on the Vet's Day parade. 
A big heartfelt thank you to all of those who served/are serving.

Old timer. Lol. You’ve got quite a few years before that will be true.
Yesterday at church they recognized the vets, and I think we counted sixteen. It’s funny how I didn’t even know some had served! Evidently, my dad didn’t either because they gave out gift certificates to the vets, and were four short!
The remaining were assured they would be getting theirs next week.

Wow! Only one vet (at least that revealed themselves) at church the other day. Wow, sixteen! That's pretty cool.

We went to the Veteran's parade today. It stayed nice until the end and than it rained.
