The Car Game

Between the ages of nine and fifteen, my mother and I lived with my stepbrother and stepfather in Pocatello, Idaho. We would drive to Boise to visit friends on many weekends. On those trips, my stepbrother and I would sit in the back seat with a stack of boxes (four or five high)—very uncomfortable, I might add.
During the 3 -4 hour drive, my stepbrother would think of ways to spend our time. One of our favorite things to do was to take turns pointing out a car going by and identifying both the make and model of the car.
Did you ever play this game?

That's for sure. We used to have to make it all up. Now it's all there in front of us.

We spent hours. I learned a lot about car makes and models.

We do this now from time to time. I know most of the emblems now.

No. I didn't have any siblings until I was 18; and we didn't get a car until then either. Have a good day.

I used to play the game of placing on a book the state license plates of autos that I saw on the interstate when my late dad would drive from one city to another during vacation time,
