I was looking at my cell phone and saw my brother's name at 6:11 p.m. I texted him and asked if he called, and I forget who called who, but we wound up talking on the phone for half an hour or so.
I don't get to talk to my brother super often. He's got a super busy life, and I don't want to bug him.
I was glad I got to talk to him tonight. I got to tell him a lot of things that he wasn't aware of.
I'm glad I have a brother.

As for me, I don't like talking on the phone unless I have to, I prefer to send short messages to communicate with my relatives, family and friends.

Guess , you would also spoke on the birthday and the gifts you received on that day. Sometimes , calling a person after a long time helps to rekindle the relationship and make it stronger. Calling people regularly sometimes bore people and worse there would not be much topics to discuss. Often people avoid callers who talk long time frequently with no actual stuff to talk about . Also, we all have our personal lives and there would be things , we would racing to complete. Not everyone is lucky to have a caring and good brother. It seems you have a one. Hope you had a great time talking to your brother. Enjoy the day!

It is neat having a brother better than having a sister.
