My Struggle is Real. Need your Thoughts

I resigned from my fulltime job last August 2024. Been almost 3 months now and I have no source of income. I am lucky to have a husband who supports me for my basic needs but I am struggling now on what I want to do next. I no longer want to go back to corporate work as the demand of my boss back then cause me so much pain and disappointment (e.g. they made me feel that I am ineffective worker considering that I have been with the position for 15 years already). For the past 3 months I have been watching videos (Youtube) of people who have been lucky to have their own business, some work at home job like being a Virtual Assistant, hoping that these people will inspire me to move forward. I am even trying to monetize my facebook account and youtube but it is so hard to be earning as early as now. Honestly, I am so down and have no eagerness (motivation) to go on. I would appreciate if there is someone in this mylot community that can share with me how they were able to move on when they were trap in a situation that they felt that they are a failure.

I know the feeling, I feel what you are going through Back years ago when me & hubby 1s got married he didn't want me working, he said he'd take care of all my needs, so being the type of person I am I said o.k BUT what he didn't know is I'm not that kind of person to let someone take care of me, so being he was a full time over the road truck driver I went & got me a house cleaning job that I could do while he was on the road & when he came home I was off them days, so it worked out pretty good. So maybe you can fill your time doing side jobs till you can find or get where you want to be in life, I know it's not as easy as it sounds & life throws us curves we don't expect but we have to take 1 day at a time.

@larish We have to have faith in God that he hears our fears that life throws at us to get through, I can tell you He's REAL & there to listen to our thoughts & answer our prayers in life.

@2ndchances24 , I believe in God. I am sure he is working on me until I find my purpose again. Please do include me in your prayers - I need God's mercy, grace and wisdom. Thank you.

I think that you can start your own business or a part time job. I hope that your social media give you a lot of followers so that you can create very good content.

your words are important to me right now. I really do hope that I can start earning already from my content. I am also thinking of starting a business soon. I need wisdom to know what business should I engage in.

I am usually one to say, if you don't like a job, leave it. But that's if you have enough money to leave it and be able to afford waiting for a better opportunity. If not, you stick with it and just deal with it and take the money and run, but in the meantime work on building a stash of cash you can work with once you decide enough is enough. I think you did this backwards. Not scolding you. But perhaps when you get back "on your feet," the next time around you can leave yourself in a better situation knowing where and how you went wrong in this one.

@larish The more we know and allow our experiences to teach us, the more we grow.
