Well, we are humans not perfect so we may not be able to control our feelings. It also happens rarely to act impulsively making us look like dumb, lol. But having a limited patience is something else. The person having this may not normal or he or she has attitude problem. It is also crucial for someone to have a limited patience because he might be put in danger once meet his real sparring and retaliation may happen. No one would also like to befriend with someone with limited patience there is always trouble. But this attitude could be cured by seeing a medic or psychologist. Have you encountered someone with limited patience?

I do have limited patience. I get nervous. I also get a bit miffed at my grandson because I know if I can't get his attention right away I may forget. So I have added anxiety due to that. I haven't encountered anyone recently with limited patience. But then, I don't go out so that's probably why.

@grenery8, yeah true as what we see in movies evil characters lack patience. They kill right away. It's best to be patient to succeed and many will like us.

Hi, I cured myself by getting my fishing license and fishing. I did not realize it at first. But people started telling me I was so much more relaxed. Patience you learn while waiting for the fish to bite. And my cat is so much more active.

@cacay1 not only that, but it is healthy too. I have had high colestoral almost my whole life. I go to the dokter for a check up and my levels were great! No more high colestoral. My cat was 12 when I started catching fish and cooking them for him. At that time he was getting slow, could not even jump on the bed anymore. I thought I was going to lose him. He is almost 19 now and doing great!! He can still jump, okay he does not run anymore unless he smells me baking fish. hahaha! But we both seem to have profited from the fishing. Okay I still do not like killing the fish. I talk to them befor I do it and tell them they are going to better water. hahaha!

@Margajoe, hehe, that's so nice. I was also told by a friend that fishing is relaxing and exciting while waiting for the fish to bite.

I think from the outside I appear as someone with a lot of patience . . . and maybe I do . . . but sometimes I have been known to closer people as having a short fuse . Oh yes, many people I know don't have much patience these days .

@cacay1 I think I just remain calm . . . not sure if it is true patience or not. I stay calm so I can think - and then I won't get impulsive.

@much2say, it's so nice of you you got a lot of patience . You won't become impulsive should there be a situation that triggers your patience. Most people I've known have unlimited patience.

@LadyDuck , he he it's annoying to wait for a doctor for some hours. I experienced it when I went to the EENT for wax extracting. I waited for two hours. I almost ran out of patience. I already made an appointment at 9 in the morning but the doctor arrived at 11 it's annoying.

@LadyDuck, I do the same. If the line is too high and the cashiering in charge is too slow, I usually leave the place and leave the goods and proceed to the other store

Anyone will come to a point that one may think it is the end of their patience. Been there, done that. I cannot say I have an unlimited patience, because like you said I'm only human. But what I do is to put myself in Jesus' shoes. What might He do in that kind of situation. Also, I try to understand the other party. I believe that everything can be resolved in time

@cacay1 I always think of the scenario that if I get angry and say hurtful words, it will be difficult to turn back on that situation. Words can cut more wounds

@rakski I agree with you on that. Words spoken cannot be retrieved and the impact is crucial to the feelings of the person. It could be both of you to suffer the consequences.

I think that's me, or maybe not, it is just because I am so full that I am like a time bomb, but I don't hurt anyone, it is just that I can't help myself from talking back.

@wolfgirl569, agree, it is a normal thing. There is no one who can stand in a situation when we are in a hurry. I am also impatient and that's a case to case situation.

It's quite common to struggle with patience, particularly when it feels like it's being put to the test. For instance, there are people who constantly act as if they're superior, looking down on us and belittling our worth or value. It's hard not to react at times, right? Hehe

There are many I have seen with limited patience. People with limited patience because of their choice of action and words often get their things! They make a fuss and people in order to get in control , hands the things these people want . I have seen many a times and different situations as well. However, havinga relationship with a person with a limited patience may not be always great. Their outbursts could lead to problems and they could also retaliate as you mentioned. Their impulsive nature also can get them trouble as their friend could be limited on a long run. I am not sure patience can be achieved by visiting a medical expert. Most are characteristics and to some extent that are fixed.

@RevivedWarrior, one example of impatient leader is Kim hehe, he even killed his officials 30 of them. He also killed his cousin and relatives. He does not like to listen to explanation. That's a characteristic of a human being who has limi ted patience. In marriage too, if a wife always nags, her husband might slap or leave her however if his patience is unlimited he will only ignore his wife or return her to her parents
