Facebook Farce

So there is a pile of crap on my Facebook page. This headline is how King Charles steps down, that one announcing a show will air next week (when it hasn't even begun filming) on and on. I look at the crap and notice piles of comments. I hit 'hide' and wonder if people haven't lost the ability to question, to research, to think.

Not on Facebook, but the same thing on other sites. Some of it leaves me in shock.

@jaylar there are so many news sources so people get fooled very easily. i sometimes wish all those social networks get shut.

the shock for me is that people will believe it. If the BBC or CNN announced... okay... but for real news services not to mention and some post on FB does... isn't that a clear sign the information is false?
