Lately, Blue has been sleeping with his face down. I did some research, and I read that sick cats sometimes sleep with their faces down. I have three cats, and he is the only one who sleeps like that. I can't find out if he is sick or anxious. Sometimes, he breathes really fast, and after a while, he calms down. I have an aggressive cat who always attacks him. I tried to separate them and the aggressive cat bit me. I couldn't believe this. He can be very anxious or sick. I took him to the vet. The vet couldn't find the cause and we spent a lot of money. He takes treatment for seizures. I am trying to separate him from my other aggressive cat. I am not sure if he should sleep like this. Do your cats sleep with their faces down?

@dya80dya she's old, but she's healthy. i think she just likes it that way. she also sleeps on her back more often.

I have never seen a cat sleep like that before. You are correct, I suppose, that your cat is not feeling well. However, I believe that it might be a mental health issue because he is being harassed by a cat, which could be upsetting to him, and his insecurity caused him to sleep that way. Sadly, there are not many animal psychologists in the world who can evaluate these kinds of cases.

I agree with @grenery8 , it seems Blue feels vulnerable and covers his face, so I think you're correct about anxiety. I hope you'll find a way to make him feel safe, or maybe get him a cradle or box he can hide in. Separating him from the aggressive cat sounds like a good idea but I don't know if he'll realize once the threat is gone.
