Do you use dental floss?

I just bought online some dental floss. The dentist recommended it. But I can't use it. Or maybe I don't know how to use it. It's too thick and uncomfortable. It's like I threw the money because I am not going to use it. I saw videos and the dentist showed me how to use it, but I still can't use it. I prefer to use different things for my dental hygiene. I wasn't aware that I couldn't use dental floss. I bought a water flosser too. This seems more useful.

I think you just need to buy a floss that are thin, they have flat and round string. You can ask your dentist what's best for you.

The dentist recommended this floss, but it's difficult to use it. She explained how to use it, but it's not thin at all.

I do use it. The only kind I use is called Oral B Slider.

Our dentist says the thinner/flatter floss is better for our teeth, but this household likes the old style string type better. A water flosser is excellent!

Yes, sometimes. However, it is difficult to use because I wear braces. Most of the time, I just use a toothpick. I also use mouthwash to clean my mouth, and of course, toothpaste. Hehe

Same here, it gets stuck in between my teeth and I don't see much purpose in the way it works. I guess an electric brush that gets to the difficult spots would be way easier, and a mouth wash too.

I have an electric brush, but it seems too strong. I am using a water flosser instead and it's very useful.

Most floss are thin enough to use. I think you just got a bad kind. A water flosser is a good idea too; smart choice.

The dentist recommended a water flosser too. It is very useful. But she said I should use both.

I would recommend thin floss. Yes, I do use it…just flossed before my dental cleaning!

Water flosser seems easier to use than dental floss.

The dentist recommended a water flosser and dental floss, but I am not sure why I should use both.

i had a similar problem, but my dentist told me that there are different types of floss and that i should use the thin one or the one for kids because my teeth are really close to each other. maybe you could do the same

I bought a water flosser, and it has the same purpose. I wonder why the dentist recommended both to me.
