Yes, you read it right, porridge is an all-time favorite snacks in the Philippines, we really love rice and carbohydrates. My mom decided to cook porridge than to buy snacks outside, to have a much healthier snacks and not so expensive. I remember there was a big issue about porridge on the first month of covid outbreak in our country. We know during those times no one is allowed to leave their homes except for the government officials and health cares, and only essential goods should be delivered. One of the restaurant employee was stopped to deliver porridge by a woman officer, because she said it is not essential. I think it will not become a big issue if the woman officer do not brag about her knowledge on what is essential and not, her way of educating the poor porridge delivery boy is humiliating. The scene was video recorded and was uploaded to social media, more people react specially the nurses and doctors, and they corrected the woman officer, and give their statement via social media why porridge is essential specially on sick people. Lesson learned, never ever brag on your little knowledge and never humiliate people just because you think they are stupid or lesser than you. Do you agree?
