Making some soup / myLot

I have kept the ginger ale down this morning and I'm finally feeling hungry. In a perfect world someone would arrive at the door with some homemade chicken orzo soup. In reality that isn't happening. I don't like store-bought soups and I don't trust most restaurants to make them from scratch. Soooo I'm improvising. I don't have any chicken but I figured I'd just make the soup with veg, pasta, and chicken broth. Yeah that would have been a great pan if I had chicken broth on hand. The boxes I saw are beef broth so it is going to be beef-less beef vegetable noodle soup.

I must say. Not only am I impressed, but you improvised. There is hope for you yet. lol At least when it comes to soup, there really aren't any rules. Granted, if I am making a particular soup for people other just wifey and I, I will do my best to stay "on plan," but when it comes to most soups and casseroles, pretty much anything is fair game.
