Good evening, Maltmates. Today's title, if you haven't already guessed, was provided by Ralphy from ralphy.com. I'm not sure what it means or how it connects to this post but I know I want to film it and I have some casting ideas. But no script. And no budget. It's a good thing that small details like that don't slow me down.
Page Two ((Paul Harvey, 1951)).
Are you ready for some good news? At least one criminal is going to go to jail for trying to steal the election in Georgia. Here, read all about it: Supreme Court rejects Mark Meadows’ request to move Georgia election subversion case to federal court ((Article Linked Below)).
I haven't spoken to Mark since this ruling came down but I'll bet you a dollar to a donut ((Krispy Kreme, please)) that he's very unhappy tonight.
He was counting on a Presidential Pardon and/or the ability to claim immunity, which can't happen now that his case is staying in state court. Thus, Mark is just like the rest of us. DonOld Trump's election will do him no good.
The Rest Of The Story ((Paul Harvey, 1951)).
I don't know how many years Mark is facing on these charges but he's also facing similiar ones in Arizona, so he could be in prison for a long time.
He is also unlikely to die in prison, given his age ((65)) but it is possible. Twenty years would probably do it.
The best thing is that when he leaves office in 2028, if he lives that long, Mark's conviction will make it easier for Trump to be convicted for the same crimes. And by that time, if he only gets one year, it will be a life sentence.

@BarBaraPrz That's the mark of a really good donut. And why they sell them by the dozen.
