How to deal with mood swings?

Yesterday, I had a sudden outburst at my boyfriend, and now guilt is eating me up. All of a sudden it feels like he doesn’t notice anything about me, like my feelings are lost in the shuffle. At that time, I expect him to know everything that's going on in my mind even from a distance! And that is when I have these outbursts. Now, I can’t shake the thought that I might not deserve him—he's so patient, a steady rock when I'm a whirlwind of emotions. He stays calm through my storms, but I wish I could give him the same steadiness. The last thing I want is to take him for granted. Any suggestions how I can stop feeling this way? How do I control my sudden outbursts?

Perhaps there is something medical going on with you. Could it be the PCOS? Have a great day.

@LindaOHio Yeah I went to the doctor today. He said 40% women have pcos so nothing much to worry about. He prescribed some 2 meds for reducing period pain.

Then you can apologize to him. I think you need to learn from your mistakes. If you have outbursts, you need to calm down first. For me, I will always think first of the consequences of my actions. Words have a powerful impact, they can cut deep and you cannot undo it.

Then you just have to relax your mind, an before you open your mouth count 1 to 10. And always think that your boyfriend also need peace inside your relationship hehehehe... And yes, apologize and talk to him an honest talk, on how can you both be better to one another, write down things that you think need adjustment and talk how to solve it.

Try to count to 10 before saying anything when you feel like that.

you need to understand yourself better. figure out what are the situations that make you feel that upset and you need to find better ways to deal with it. there are different books that could help you with that. also, i'm glad your partner is patient. take care of each other, that's what matters

he could be good to you in general but if you had noticed something that bothered, he could be at fault. i know it's hard to change people.
