Officials with the Worchester Public Library are happy to report that the only copy of the book called "The Early Work Of Aubrey Beardsley was due back in May of 1973 but the book was not returned to the library in time. Alex London who is the genealogy and the local historian librarian in Worchester said on Friday October 8 that the book that was published in 1899 was returned to the Cambridge Public Library. The librarian at Cambridge Branch contacted Alex to relay the good news of the overdue book was going back to Worchester. Better late than never in relation to an overdue book coming home at last. That's so good. I wonder who brought it back and what's the story behind?

@Deepizzaguy it could be better if we know the story behind it, right?

That is a good question since the source of the story did not give out many details.

It is good when wrongs are fixed, and the right thing finally done, even after many blue moons have passed over, as here occurred.

i'm glad the book was returned. i'm wondering how many books are "lost" somewhere and never returned... i remember back in high school, library would send a list of students and books they never returned. then on-call student would read the list in class and everyone would know who are "the irresponsible" kids that don't return the book to the library. i don't remember exactly what were the consequences if the book is not returned.
