We shifted to a semi rural town a few years ago. Happy that we did it as it is a win win situation all the way
There is no heavy traffic, no pollution and best of all you get the best service be it the plumber, electrician computer technician, bank service, beauty saloon, the works.
We have everything at walking distance - fish market, grocery, hospital, banks.........
Just this morning I had the technician over for getting my blood tests done. He will call up with the results and then come tomororow with a written report.

It is good to have a rural location with all the conveniences of an urban one. However, when you say "rural," you are referring to a place that lacks all the amenities that an urban area has. Rural areas may have the advantage of cleaner air and less traffic, but in my experience, most urban conveniences—such as banks, the internet, healthcare, and many more—are frequently absent from rural areas.

@allknowing Thanks for the information. Is it truly far away or close to an urban area?

yeah, everything being at waking distance is something i miss about Bosnia too. but still, it was difficult to find plumbers or electricians, and you can't get your blood test done at home.
