It is disturbing that no matter which allppathy medicine we take they have side effects and the doctors do not tell us about it Side effects such as nausea, dizziness muscle cramps and such can be very upsetting specially when the patient is not told about it. I always check on the Net for such information and get ready to face those side effects I am waiting for a day when allopathy will be free from all these side effects. Rather than try to settle on the moon wish they did something about this instead.

I have never heard the term 'allopathy' before, had to look it up. Here any medicine comes with a big sheet of paper detailing what it is used for, what effects it has, how to take it, and any potential side effects and how common they are.

That is what doctors prescribe. Doctor's prescribe on a small sheet of paper.

I always check the side effects before buying the medicines for my husband. He had serious problems in the past.

@allknowing - Some are dangerous and it's better to find an alternative medicine.

I don't take medicines, but there are times when we've had to take some kind prescribed medicine. Here, the doctor might not mention them, but we can have a quick consultation with the pharmacist about potential side effects (if they don't say anything, I do ask!). As Fleur mentioned, side effects are mentioned on the bottle itself and there's usually a paper attached with a long explanation.

Yeah some medicines do have extreme side effects which some doctors intentionally don't mention to their patients. That's why I have a hard time trusting doctors.
