Whether we use electric or regular toothbrushes, toothbrushes are essential part of our oral hygiene. A vast majority of us brush our teeth in morning and health conscious people do it twice or more per day.
Dental professional often recommend changing the brush every 3-4 months or when the bristles wear down. It then becomes less effective in removing plaque or bacteria. People with sensitive gums are also recommended to change their toothbrush every 3 months. Again toothbrushes should be replaced in case you have gum issues .
Personally , I change my toothbrush every third month. Not sure if my dad suggested me to do so or was it a dental recommendation. However I started that habit on or before my tenth grade.
So, how often do you change your toothbrush?
