Figured I’ll give MyLot another go.
I’m a longtime member from the old days and deleted my account a while back to prevent in-real-life people from identifying me since many knew the username I used for everything and discussions are searchable via Google.
Had a nasty divorce, moved to another state and also changed my name, new start, new life. I just want to be the happiest version of myself as possible.
So hello to old faces and new, I cannot tell you who I was but it’s fine if we start anew.

. Yah, it has gotten a lot quieter here . . . less people and posting, I think.
I don't blame you for doing all that - I get it. I used to do a lot on social media - but now I literally just lurk - I want to keep private and not expose everything I do to the world (even my close world). Some people/groups are just toxic. Hope you are feeling more liberated now and can breathe as you wish!

Thank you for the welcome! I recognize your username, among some others. I’ve been browsing a tiny bit and it seems pretty quiet here compared to to what I remember.
First mylot account I had was created back in 2011 I believe.
But I decided to delete a lot of my social media across various platforms a couple years ago. (or make secondary private accounts) and I can actually express myself now without fear of my ex.

@much2say Sounds like we have that in common. I don’t do much on social media unless it’s anonymously, else I just lurk lol. And social media is so difficult because ppl use it as means to hurt others or just be famous and I don’t want part in either one.

Welcome back.
I go back to 2006. Gave up in 2013 when the site stopped paying. I wasn't aware that the old owners had come back 2 years after, in fact, I didn't know at all that the site was paying again until today when I got a notification.
A lot has happened in my life, marriage, divorce, abusive relationships, a few moves, health issues, etc. But I'm surviving.

Most of the reason was due to my divorce and my abusive ex husband or his spies trying to destroy me. But also because I value privacy and the freedom to be who I really am. I can now write about or express anything I want without fear of my thoughts or feelings being judged or used against me in some way.

@Kamuigan Hes your ex husband, if he is doing that you should get a restraining order against him. No contact and such.
I got one on an ex, but refused to let him keep the power over me to stop living my life

Welcome back to mylot! Sorry to hear you had challenges in your personal life. Mylot is a nice place to hangout and forget your challenges. Sicne you are longtime memeber you know the rules and things. I am just 6 months into mylot and making new acquaintance . I enjoy the discussions and responses and well I relax over here . However , I do not spend considerable time in mylot. You shuld forget the past and move on. Steak cannot be served on your plate unless what remains in your plate is done and gone .Good luck with your new life!

We have a 'similarity'. I've just been back from 'hiatus' too and I can say that I'm a newbie oldie here. I started with this great community way back 2004 or 2005 but after sometime, I wasn't able to continue due to my change of address/relocation. And just an hour ago, I was able to sign up for myLot again. And I'm really very happy I did come back. Apart from the earnings which I still haven't earned here now, I love to write and vent out my thoughts in these types of forum/community.
So there you have it.. I'm looking forward to sharing with a lot of great people here for the coming days & months, & even years. Good luck to all of us.
