I feel like I haven't done one of these in awhile. What's going on the dinner table tonight? Share with us!
I'm making a lightened-up version of spaghetti and meatballs. To make the meatballs I'm using ground turkey. I am not a fan of turkey burgers but I find that I can't tell the difference in things like meatballs or chili. To go with it I will serve them over "zoodles" (spiralized zucchini). They aren't the same as pasta but I enjoy them. It is a good way to reduce carbs and get some vegetables in my life.
That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? I want to know!

Dinner? Yellow split pea based soup- onion, carrots, instant mashed potato to add a creamy effect. I paired that with home made individual sized yam pies- honey in the mashed yam with ginger and cinnamon. Hubby was very happy and ate his pie instead of saving some for later. I have never bought pie crust. I just get out two buter knives and make it.

a salad with chicken in it. shredded mozzarella cheese, and Italian dressing
Your meal sounds delicious. I can't give an honest opinion of ground turkey as I never had it in any form. however, my peer used to brown it and add vegetables for her dog But recently announced that it got to be so expensive that her dog is eating dog food but her dog loved the ground turkey
I bought "zoodles" already spiralized in a better grocery that carries unique things once. I made what I called a "pasta salad" but just called it that as i put Olive Garden Italian dressing on it and my pasta salads are that dressing over pasta. but with pasta i add cheese and the "Zoodles" i didn't add it. i thought they were pretty good

They had zoodles on a cooking show the other night. I don't think they called them that though.
