What rotten lucky to have more than one of your luxury cars destroyed by a bear. Only, it wasn’t rotten luck. Four (I believe it was four) people have been arrested for trying to defraud more than one insurance company of over $140,000. But they had the bear attacks recorded! After all, we see bears get into cars and destroy them sporadically (at least here). They took the recording to an animal specialist who agreed the bear destroying the cars was really a guy in a bear suit. Further proof? Authorities executed a search for one of their houses, and found a very realistic bear suit.
I can’t believe those fools really tried it. Anyone hear of any ridiculous insurance scams lately? Should they have tried to just fool one insurance company instead of two?

That is insane. I’m glad they didn’t get away with it.

What a crazy idea and how could they think they would get away with it?

What a wild scam! Using a bear suit for insurance fraud is next-level absurd. Maybe sticking to one company wouldn’t have raised as many red flags.
