Leftovers-- Interesting Ways to Use Up Leftovers

I thought it would be fun to see how you guys in Mylot Land use up the leftovers from Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I used to go to a sandwich shop near where I worked that made the best turkey sandwiches. They had cream cheese and cranberry sauce in them and were delicious. The picture I chose is a bit of an exaggeration. Does anyone still serve cranberry sauce? I never buy it anymore. I do love a good turkey sandwich. Dressing and mashed potatoes are always good the second time around. The picture is from spruceeats.com

Anything and everything. We use it all, so stuff gets made into soups and casseroles, sandwiches, you name it.

@celticeagle Many things to me are that way. When things can marinate, it just makes them better.

What I do is mix all the leftover meat recipes and cook them in vinegar, soy scuace, onion, garlic and add a bit of sugar.

i don't celebrate these holidays, but when we have leftovers - we just eat them the next few days. because it's mostly many different meals - different sorts of pita, meat, veggies and stuff. you don't have to cook for the next few days

Do you eat turkey? I just think that any food is better the second day. The flavor is better.

We often use leftovers like turkey on wraps, and sometimes my hubs will put a bit of stuff on it if he's trying to use some of that up.

The last time I have tried cranberry sauce was when we were living in Ireland more than a decade ago. It was delicious.

My husband loves cranberry sauce. We used to have several turkey dinners and turkey sandwiches. Nothing went to waste! Have a good weekend.

I like turkey sandwiches. I can't eat any type of sauce. All I eat is tasteless.
