When I just got married I followed every recipe to the 't' I got myself a set of measuring spoons and also a measuring glass that helped me the quantity to be added to recipes. Much water has now flown under the birdge and I no longer use those measuring gadgets. I just put a bit of othis and a bit of that. My cooking turns out perfect. All I can say is practice makes it perfect. Image Credit:

I'm getting that way when I make yeast breads. I still have a set of measuring spoons hanging handy on a kitchen nail and I know exactly where my glass measuring cup is.
