Missing kangaroo returned to his owner three weeks later

A kangaroo that went missing a month ago is reunited with his owner in Florida.

A kangaroo that went missing three weeks ago around Pierson Florida when a bear was seen entering the enclosure if the kangaroo ran away from his home. Kristen Turner who is a spokesperson for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (FWC) reported the good news that the kangaroo was captured by the FWC officials on Wednesday morning when the kangaroo was bedded down in heavy cover. The owner of the kangaroo was notified about the kangaroo being captured and was the kangaroo was reunited with his owner. Kristen did report that the owner of the kangaroo could be fined by the authorities for failure to report the kangaroo missing within 12 hours. For the record kangaroos are legal to be kept in Florida as pets with a permit. Link is upi.com/5491731014375 via @upi

With permission of the state in Florida it is legal to have a kangaroo as a pet.

The kangaroo jumped at the chance to return home. Even after being lost, he bounced right back. It was probably a bit of a leap to think they'd ever see him again.

I've never seen a kangaroo. On TV only. I bet they are crafty fellows. I'm a bit intimidated by them. I've seen where they punch people.
