i've been awake since 2 something and i've been rolling around for the next hour and a half & just gave up, got up and started my day (it's 4:45 now).
i'm honestly thinking of getting sleeping pills or melatonin for when this happens, because it's happening more than usual and never had this problem.
anyways, i'll be doing random things until i feel sleepy again.
what do you do in such situation?

hmm that's a good idea, but it would be wasted time to me because i can't focus when i'm only listening to something

Melatonin helps a lot of people who don’t want to take a sleeping pill, but just want to stay asleep longer than they normally do. Sleep is so essential to our health that it’s understandable you’d want to take care of the problem now. Magnesium is also helpful in sleeping too.

maybe i should start with magnesium and see what it does. i hope i don't have this problem too often in future.

I have had that experience. I roll a bit and then get up and do whatever chores Never become a victim of sleeping pills.

my problem is that i didn't feel sleepy at all. i felt ready to start my day...at 3am
there are the times when i wake up but i'm still sleepy, i usually drink some water and i go back within 15 minutes.

I hate when that happens. If I don't fall back asleep in a reasonable amount of time I get up but usually need a nap at some point.

i ended up feeling sleepy again around 7am, so i just went to bed again and slept until 10am aka normal time to wake up on saturdays

I was like this before. I stopped opening my phone at least 1 or 2 hours before my bed time. Walking and stretching helped as well - I can sleep faster after workouts.

i have no problem falling asleep. my problem is feeling rested at crazy time in the morning
maybe you're right about the phone, i've been playing games past few days more than before.
