Heavy rain and strong winds are currently affecting my province. This weather has persisted since this afternoon, even though the super typhoon is still quite far away. If I am not mistaken, conditions are expected to worsen later. I hope everyone stays safe, including stray animals. I am also hoping there won't be any power interruptions as the super typhoon approaches. The howling winds are quite frightening. How is the weather where you live?
The photo was taken this afternoon as the winds picked up. However, the image does not convey the real situation here. Hehe. I just shared it anyway

I couldn't take a photo of the trees swaying because a house was blocking the view for privacy reasons. In addition, it wasn't yet peak time when I took the photo. We were hit around 11 in the evening.

@freelancermariagrace In such situations, humans would realise just how powerless and vulnerable they are.

@JudyEvI completely agree. When Mother Nature strikes, we can do nothing about it.

Yes, the howling winds were terrifying. I imagine those who live in houses made of lightweight materials. :(

I believe the typhoon has already moved through your area by now. Since this is the fifth one to pass through our nation after a number of others, I sincerely hope it is the last to do so. I pray that we are given some time to rest and recuperate from all of the storms that have passed because we have been beaten up enough and need to get better now.

Last night around 11 PM, our province was hit quite hard. I hardly slept due to the heavy rain and howling winds. I hope this is the last storm we experience this year, as many people have not yet recovered from the ongoing typhoons.
