Not too much to say today One thing that I am looking forward to today is brushing my teeth with toothpaste that has charcoal in it. It is kind of disconcerting to see black toothpaste though. Have you ever used any product with charcoal in it?

That is what it is supposed to do, and freshen your mouth and breath.

@snowy22315 Yeah, so you have to make sure you get a new one every three months like they say…

It is supposed to make your mouth feel fresh and remove stains. I used it last night, but can't say I noticed much of a difference

@snowy22315 I remember the 'charcoal craze' that occurred a few years back, it didn't appeal to me.

I had thought of using that type of toothpaste, but I had heard it's bad for you so I never tried it.

My Mum was always touting charcoal as a toothpaste.

There is something to be said for charcoal. My mother had some kind of illness when she was a kid, and the doctor prescribed "burnt toast juice" sounds disgusting, but apparently it worked. My ex has IBS and was prescribed charcoal in capsule form.

I currently use the Crest 3D charcoal (got it on sale ). I have used charcoal products and for the most part it serves us well. The only thing is charcoal soap can make your sink or tub look dirty - so you just have to extra clean those areas. I don't seem to have that problem with the toothpaste.

I don't notice much of a difference with using that, but have only used it once thus far.
