Have you started putting up your Christmas tree yet?

Hey everyone, The holiday season is almost here, and I was wondering… have you started putting up your Christmas tree yet? Or are you waiting a bit longer? I know some people love to get started early, even in November, while others prefer to wait until December 1st. We’re planning to start this weekend, but I can't help but feel excited already! I love this time of year—the lights, the decorations, and that smell of pine. How about you? Have you already put yours up? Do you have any special ornaments or traditions that just have to be part of your tree? Let’s share ideas and tips to make our decorations even more beautiful!

I love this time of the year;too;but I'm a Hindu.I celebrate Christmas with my Christian friends who live here since decades.We celebrate Christmas atop a hillock at the outskirts of our town.They;too;celebrate our festivals like Holi and Duwali.

What’s the Christmas celebration like for you, since you're Hindu? I imagine it must be a unique experience, especially celebrating at the top of a hill – what’s that moment like? Not yet. But the wifey is getting antsy wanting to put the outside decorations up. I am reluctant only because we still hav some leave mulching left and I don't want cords in the way.

I totally get it! The urge to start decorating is always strong, but it's a good idea to make sure the space is ready first. The leaf mulch can be an important detail, especially to avoid getting wires tangled or damaged. Maybe you could suggest starting with the indoor decorations while you organize the outdoor area — that way, you can get into the holiday spirit and have the outside ready once the space is cleared. Have you both come up with a plan to organize everything before you start decorating?
