Did you know that sleeping only five hours or less per night can lead to depression?

I recently came across an article that really shocked me. It said that getting only five hours of sleep or less each night can actually increase the risk of developing depression. I had no idea that something as simple as sleep could have such a huge impact on our mental health!
Apparently, sleep deprivation can affect our mood, cognitive function, and even the chemicals in our brain that regulate emotions. The more I think about it, the more I realize how many people (including myself sometimes) sacrifice sleep to keep up with work, school, or even social media. But it seems like those late nights might be taking a bigger toll than we realize.
So, what do you think? How much sleep do you usually get? Have you noticed any effects on your mood or mental health when you don’t get enough sleep?
