Thank you for your prayers.
The typhoon weakens and now at the West Philippine Sea. No more rains at winds at the moment, but the weather news said it might still bring rains.
I thank God for the mountain walls - they said as soon as it hits the Sierra Madre mountain ranges, the typhoon strength weakened.
Hoping to see the sunshine tomorrow.

Yay, the mountains can be helpful with weather systems. Many don't hit us because they are stopped by the mountains.

The coastal areas were extremely devastated. When the typhoon crossed the mountains, it weakened and it went out early. The news said it will exit Monday morning or afternoon, but as soon as it hit the mountains, it just pass through us.

That is good to know. I suppose many of you in Northern Luzon place a great deal of importance on those mountain ranges. For this reason, it is crucial to keep those mountain ranges from being depleted in order to preserve their ability to defend you there.

It was a relief for us in the provinces that got spared. But the other provinces were hit so badly.

Unlike the other provinces that have the direct hit, they were devastated.
