So, the first time he took it this AM it was high but after his meds and beetroot supplement it was normal! I sent him with several waters..and the supplement and a no sugar added apple pie. Hopefully he is on the right track now. I told him he should be checking his BP daily. However, I can just tell how this will go, I will ask him if he checked and he will passivee aggressively say, "not yet" or "I will." Thank God he doesn't live here

Good service to your friend.
Maintaining good health can be a big challenge sometimes.
From Apple Pie, I came to know that among a lot of bakery shops I didn't get Apple Pie anywhere.
But well, it's all life !!

I guess it isn't popular there. This is very good it was probably expensive. I don't even know how much it cost. I just wanted to buy it for him.

Also Apple Pie needs special preparation so perhaps it is not something that every baker does.

I have heard a lot about beet root supplements but have not tried them. Tell friend that when he gets old sometimes they demand blood pressure sent over the wifi. That is what hubby has. He is to get up, sit still and relax for thirty minutes then take his blood pressure with a talking monitor.

He was trying to tell me he had some kind of positional vertigo .but I doubt it. With his stroke history to he can't take anY chances anyway

It isn't a pancea, but I think it is more good than bad.

Beets in general are helpful, unless you have kidney stones or gallbladder issues.

I hope so. He will go to the doctor tomorrow. so that is good. I think honestly if he stops eating so much processed food, it will help a good deal.

@snowy22315 Good idea - hopefully he'll get into the routine of it and eventually do it daily on his own.
