Good afternoon.

Well, it's another early afternoon post. But then I had a rather slugish morning. But, I've never been a morning person and George is becoming less of one. He tends to come out of the living room and fall asleep on the couch for a couple of hours. It's finally getting cool enough that he's been asking the temp daily. But, we still have sunshine which is always good. We're also watching old races now that race season is over. I surprised myself yesterday by not putting off the dishwasher and getting it done. I'm bad about getting things done. However, I can if I put my mind to it.

We had cat issues so we didn't get much sleep last night. We are three of us night people pretty much.

Less than three months until the Daytona 500! Enjoy being a night owl. I am one myself, and I love it.

I hate racing, I'm glad it's the off season and only have to put up races when George asks me.

Yeah, I know. Amazing how time flies. I've said this before, having racing on gives me a couple hours of downtime where I can move about the house. I put on an Arka race for George and washed my hair.

Well, the good thing about your husband being in a rehab hospital, he doesn't have to be out in it.

I think because I did not have proper sleep for last 2 days , I was kind of grumpy. Plus the day's work , tasks and activities well I was completely drained by end of day. There was nothing to motivate or inspire me for the day. Worse, there are enough things to discourage me in my path of progress. I did have short naps in morning and late evening just for 5 minutes. Do not have time to think due to things which have piled up on me. We had good sunshine and warm temperature throughout the day. Glad to read your day. Enjoy the time!

It's important to pace yourself. And, not allow yourself to become overwhelmed with the day's tasks. Like today is laundry day. And I have it going.

My big thing on the dishwasher is sometimes forgetting to turn it on. I generally like to do that at night, but sometimes it has to be a daytime thing. I am sure you are probably like me, and just rinse and load, and don't run it until it's full. Usually for us, that is pretty much every other day, which works out well. I have never been a true morning person, even when I had to go to work at 4 or 5AM for a few years. I have always been a night owl. My sister was as well...maybe it just runs in the family? Who knows...I just know I do not like early mornings very much.
