A Special Thanks

It was 4:50 this morning and I get a call from my youngest daughter who was in tears. She had already called her dad, and he woke me up and was heading out the door to get to her. She was on her way to work and a deer (very big buck) ran out in front of her. Needless to say, she hit the deer. As you can see from the picture, her car has a lot of damage. I am just thankful that she is ok. I think she may have whiplash with the neck pain and headache she has had all day. If it continues tomorrow, I will have her go to the doctor. But other than that she is fine. She is really upset about her car, but we have filed a claim with the insurance company and we took the car to an auto-body shop.
I have said many prayers of thanksgiving to the Father today.

I’m so glad she wasn’t hurt badly. We can do everything right, but it is hard to avoid hitting a deer. My best friend totaled her car last year due to hitting one, one night. She was blessed like your daughter to have escaped injuries these accidents often bring.

I don’t like this time of year because the deer are everywhere. I’m thankful I’m retired, but I have seen them out running across the road in the early morning.

I am glad she is okay. That vehicle looks like it will probably be totaled out by insurance.
She is likely to be sore in the next few days, but glad she doesn't have any serious injuries.
