Yes I Did

I know some have a different opinion, and that's fine. That is one of the beauties of America - freedom to voice different opinions.
My title answers the question in the photo. Yes, I missed Trump and yes, I am so glad he's coming back. Now, having said that, he was not my first choice. I was a DeSantis supporter 100%. However, I am glad Florida gets to keep Ron DeSantis. They are blessed to have him as governor. I would prefer him over Alabama's old, fickle lush.
Back to Trump: My husband and I are sitting here watching The Stu Burgiere Show (STU DOES AMERICA). He and his guest are discussing the pros and cons of Trump's cabinet picks. I love Vance, Ramaswamey, Gaetz, and Homan. I am good with Musk having a place in finances, but they need to keep a close eye to make sure his liberal philosophies and the Climate Change Cult does not leak through. I have mixed feelings about Gabbard and Rubio. As for Noem, I guess she will do a good job; just keep your animals away from her. The biggest confliction for me is Kennedy. He has shown great support for Trump. I agree with his philosophies on health, but he is just too liberal in other areas. I, greatly, prefer Ben Carson for this position.
I just hope Trump completely drains the swamp this time.
Although I am a Trump supporter and feel he was the right choice for America, I do wish people could see that he is not the Savior of America. There is only one hope for America and that is Jesus. If we don't repent and surrender to God, America is doomed no matter who is president.
II Chronicles 7:14- "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

I totally agree with you that God is America's last hope as a nation. I feel like He's giving us a second and possibly last chance.

I'm not really religious. I just hope that Trump picked good people. I don't really knw who anyone is except for Musk, but we'll see how things go. And, yes I 'm glad we kept Desantsis. Florida needs him right now.

Curious me: who is going to feed the children and the elderly and the disabled if there are less food programs for them? This part I don't understand. My husband worked for many years in the welfare department. He did not deal with criminals and charlatans. He met with women who needed basics like tampons and food for their children. If there are no socialist programs like we didn't have in the 20's who will care for these folks? Will folks truly go back to eating real food like vegetables or will they continue eating chips and such?

@gnatsmom Thank God for that farmer. My daughter still talks about the cream of cucumber soup that I made when she was a kid. She thought I had made it just to be mean. I'd gotten a good deal on cucumbers so I thought I'd make it into supper. I wish our culture would stop eating crud but its built in now. Having some higher up take away all the sugared kids cereals is not going to stop the built in addiction we have now. Its going to leave some kids sitting around with empty bellies. I have participated in the Gleaner program. Loved it. I wish it were an every day expected program. Its not. I wish I saw kids begging for vegetables when they go to the store. Its a no win system. Having a person in charge who did not read the part in the Bible about Thou shalt not commit adultery is not going to help. Thou shalt not covet thy wife is in there too. Whether its Buddaha or Yayweh or the Great Spirit or the Goddess- may One of them help us all. Every culture ever born has a Creation story and a Bible that they hold sacred. Its not all about Whites and who is Best. It's about sacred love of life and cherishing each other's feelings and beings. What ever Bible you choose to believe in. Sanscript and Arabic and Mandarin. Love them all.

@gnatsmom Some healthy foods can be quick but its got to be thought out and with all the pressures these days that can be super hard to do. We like our sugar-fat rushes and the caffeine and the crunch. I'm mostly vegetarian these days. I'm eating more Mac N Cheese cause its easy. I pair it with a vegie from the freezer and something like deviled eggs for protein. Buying freezer vegies like spinach and broccoli is not easy these days due to those simple but nutritious vegies are hidden among the bags of corn and peas and sauced bags.

@sallypup You term "addiction" is 100% correct. I don't think parents meant for their kids to get addicted to junk food. We have led such busy, hectic lives, we eat on the go and it is hard to find healthy on the go. I think we have gotten addicted to the bad foods and the busy lives.
Cucumber soup- I have never tried that, but I would like to. I still love cucumbers.
