Good morning, friends.
The Haitian gardener´s helper is here are he is using an awful tool that works with a sort of petroleum instead of electricity like my own.
And the air is full of disgusting odors and I won´t be able to finish eating my breakfast.
Manuel, the gardener, fixed my shower. All I need for many of the works needed here is a force that I don´t have any longer. I can´t even open a bottle many times.
Manuel told me that I only had to heat Charlie´s food in the microwave oven. But I´ll offer him some ice cream after lunch.
Luna jumped at both men at the beginning, but after a while, she just looked at a place where she would not be bothered and stayed there. It is clear that she is not a watch dog.
I´ll check today where I can get my feet and hands echographies made. The last doctor I saw wanted that too. It is clear that I´ll spend my money for the rest of my life in cake and meds. Yesterday Alejandra called me and we only talked about ailments. Gone are the days of literary conversations. She is going to be 80 in 20 days.
I took my pain pills early. I will shower as soon as the knee pain subsides a bit.
See you.

I have seen mowers that are not electric. This one is petrol, I think.

@LadyDuck This one stinks. But my garden is small. I have noticed that this Haitian gardener helper works a lot more that the Chilean ones. The poor Haitians are in great need of work and Haiti now is not a nice place to live.

@marguicha Most mowers here are petrol powered, they are more powerful than electric, necessary for steep gardens.

Fortunatly he does everything very quickly. Anf now he asked me to heat his lunch in my microwave oven. His wife must be a very good cook. The aroma was delicious.

That must be a strong smell, if you can't eat. Try and enjoy your day.

@marguicha Sure you'll be glad the day ends, or when he's complete.

Well, I hope that your pain subsides soon.
It can be stressful talking about the ailments always.
But well, that is life !!
My wishes with you!!

Getting old is certainly no fun. I can vouch for that. I'm glad you're getting your yard work done and you had your shower fixed. Have a great day.

@marguicha You're welcome. Yes, I worry about that too with my husband gone.

Glad your garden is getting fixed up, I hope your knee feels better and you will have a relaxing evening, I find the early dark strange, I got on here at 5 PM and it was still light outside and now it is 6 PM and it is dark,

Darness is one of the many things I don´t like about winter.
