GREAT to see LouAvul back after all her world traveling!!! Just in time for the last three weeks of this mess. The rest of you are already well-accustomed to these. It doesn’t get any better, although you might find an oasis (not the band ) on the pop side. Here’s today’s song from my 100 favorite charted country songs. There She Goes - Carl Smith Some of you die-hard Patsy Cline fans might know this song from her version. You talk about night and day? Patsy’s version was almost a blues/swing rendition. For someone who was known for putting emotion in every syllable, her version isn’t the heartbreak version. It’s Carl Smith’s hit that does it. I mention this every time I mention Carl Smith, because it’s one of the few ways that this legendary Country Music Hall of Famer — and my dad’s favorite singer — is remembered these days.
