Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 63 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. I *almost* put the top down but I didn't. I am done with in-person work for the day and back at the apartment. I was supposed to have 2 hours of tutoring but one student cancelled so I just have to do 4-5pm. Hopefully we can make the other hour up this week. Work today was both busy and annoying. It wasn't even the students who were annoying me. It is a coworker who is trying to make me jump through all of these hoops for a special ed student because SHE (the coworker) screwed up. I am NOT going to deal with this for the next 8 months. I'm just not. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

How did she screw up? I have often "enabled" less competent people at work and in other places. I am getting tired of it. I'm off to guitar Center this afternoon. My co-workers there seem to be good at what they do.

IEP says student has an in-class resource sped teacher. He is in my class without a resource teacher. Soooooooooooooooooo she promised all of these modifications and accommodations and then pushed it onto me because she "doesn't know science". Sorry. Her failure to prepare is NOT my emergency.

I am working on sharing news stories on this site as well as getting rid of the trash inside of the house after the Hungry Root box of food came in this afternoon.
