Christmas Music in November

I have been hearing complaints, the last couple of weeks, about all the Christmas music in November. Some say Christmas music should start in December. Some say it should only be played the week of Christmas.
For me, I have no problem with Christmas music in November, I am already listening to Christmas music. I am one of those who will listen to Christmas music all year round. Of course, I also have my "give thanks" playlist, which, I also listen to year round.
So what do yall think? When is it appropriate to crank up the Christmas play lists?

I usually wait until right after Thanksgiving to start. But I have noticed over the years that the holidays go by so fast I'm still listening to Christmas music right into January. So, I started a bit earlier this year to fit in all the Christmas Classics I enjoy listening to while it's still in season.

I've been known to listen to Christmas music in July
I don't mind it in November but can understanding, if played too often, that it becomes more of an annoyance than the joyful fun it's meant to be.

I am also like you. I have no issue if Christmas music is being played in November. It gives me a good vibes but I have respect for those who complaint hearing Christmas music as early as November because I believe that they have their personal reasons for not liking it.

i think it's all to put you in a "Christmas" mood, the sooner the better - more money will be spent on Christmas decorations, gifts and similar
stores change music and decorations to put us in certain mood all the time. it's Halloween - everything's to be spooky and as soon as it's done it's Christmas time for stores and cities. it's up until February and then it's all red hearts and love songs and red hearts for Valentine's day.

We have had thanksgiving already (Canada), so the Christmas music has started early. In fact, Christmas stuff was in stores before Halloween. That's worse than music in November.

I agree. That is one thing that annoys me, putting out Christmas during halloween. Then they take up the Christmas stuff before Christmas is over and some of us don't have the money to purchase until closer to Christmas.

I already know my favorite radio station is crankng out the Christmas tunes. and George told me while we were going to Aldi he could see neighbors putting up christmas decor. So I guess Christmas is in the air.

I would prefer to listen to Christmas music a week before Christmas since when the local radio stations in Lake Charles start playing Christmas music on Friday midnight through the day after Christmas at midnight all of the time which can be annoying listening to the same artists.
