Outlander returns on Friday!!!!

WOOHOO! I can't wait! I know those of you who read my posts regular are completely shocked. All I can say is IT IS ABOUT TIME! Season 6 was cut short from the usual 12-14 episodes down to 8 due to COVID and actress Catriona Balfe's pregnancy. STARZ and the producers promised that they would make it up to Outlander fans by having an extra-long season 7. Sounds great, right? Ha--yeah no. They DID film like 14 or 16 episodes but they only broadcast the first 7 and then took a hiatus of over a year. That doesn't sound like they filmed an extra-long season. That was filming 2 more short seasons and making us wait an even longer amount of time to see new ones. I knew that the second half of the season was starting soon but I just assumed it would be on Sunday since that is when Outlander is always shown. Nope. I looked at the day for November 22 and it is Friday. So it looks like I will have a hot date with Jamie Fraser this Friday. They've already wrapped the filming of the 8th and final season but Darwin knows how long they will make us wait for that. For now I am looking forward to the next 7 episodes.
