Binge Watching; Castle / myLot

Yesterday I noticed that on our Roku channel they had moved Castle from our saved list to the now showing part. So, we began to binge watch it. The show aired from 2009 to 2016 on ABC. It stared Nathan Fillion as millionaire crime writer Richard Castle. Someone killed people by imitating the characters from his books. The police reached out to him to have him help on the case and the captain decided that he had a natural act for police work so kept him on as a consultant. Stana Katic plays Detective Kate Beckett whom Castle works with. Also staring in the show are Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodger who is Castle's mother. Molly Quinn as Alexis, Castle's daughter. Seamus Dever plays detective Kevin Ryan, Jon Huertas as detective Javier Esposito. Tamala Jones as Lanie Parish the medical examiner and Ruben Santiago-Hudson as Captain Roy Montgomery. We are about 1/2 way through season two tonight. We are enjoying the show. Have you watched this cop comedy/drama before? Did you like it?

I haven’t watched anything since the first 4-5 episodes of season two of the Night Court reboot.

Castle was a good show. When friend is here we binge watch Bosch or Amazon Prime. At least he does, I lose interest in it at times

I enjoyed Castle and have the series in my collection. I always liked Martha's appearances. I felt it lost a bit once they got married and we lost the 'will they, won't they' aspect of the story lines
