Life’s at a crossroad now. Preparing for the GATE(Graduate Aptitude test in engineering) exam in Electronics, I’m diving deep into revisions and solving Previous year Questions. I want to pursue higher studies in VLSI domain.
On the flip side, destiny has dealt me a Consultant role at a company(won't reveal much here) . Now, it’s a thrilling game of ‘what’s next’- a leap into academia or riding the corporate wave? The journey ahead is full of circuits and possibilities, and I’m ready to embrace whatever the future designs.
For now, I am focusing on GATE exam. First things first. I will let universe decide the latter!
Good night btw.
What's up ?
How are you guys?
Did you have dinner yet?

@allknowing No the joining is next year because I am still in 7th sem. As I said, the companies start recruiting when students are in 4th year (still in college) and then they are given an agreement that after completion of college, they would be joining.

No I am in 4th year so in most engineering colleges placements start from 7th semester itself. Same happened with me and I got placed in that company for the consultant role.

@Dreamerby If you finish your exam, then you do not have to study for that exam again

I wish you success in whatever is in store for you.
I worked honestly all my working years and never bothered about the rewards.
My input itself was the reward as if one looks at others' approval, we can get disappointed.
I worked in three countries and had exposure to different cultures.
I was not allowed to retire but did not want to die working. I wanted to enjoy "me time" too!

"‘what’s next’- a leap into academia or riding the corporate wave?" - i say why not both? if it's possible in your country. you study and you have part time/honorary job on the days when you don't have many classes.
nothing much here. just trying to catch up with happenings here

Both is kinda not the good thing to do. Corporate job would be 9 to 6. I would have to join an evening course or something. That's not really a good option. Its looked down upon and considered weaker than the regular course.
