A smiling cat

Animals show their emotions by their actions but never have I seen a changed expression on their face as you can see on this cat in the image.
The photographer was lucky to grab this expression but not sure if the cat did show an expression of happiness or just the way this cat looks no matter in what mood he/she is.
Suffice it to say it is a prize photo and I wonder if the photographer won any awards for this.

I wish that was true as per my knowledge animals' emotions do not show on their face

Aww! That look will melt anyone. I am not a cat person and would stay far from them. But enjoy such cute pictures of them shared on various online platforms.
