These car dealerships make me laugh and not in a good way

So, I got some more info on the car I was interested in. Apparently the dealer was charging nearly a 1,000 dollar processing fee...say what?? It has been a while since I bought a car..but I was figuring it would be maybe 300 for the processing, 500 tops. They have to be kidding me. So that's out. The other dealership the one I was talking about before that kept trying to talk me into getting financing, called me this morning, and said (reading between the lines here) that the other guy, the one who was bugging me was fired, and they understood I didnt want a loan, but what could they interest me in, I told them what I wanted, and they said they didn't have anything like that..great. I really am not interested in selling my current car to buy another..as going without a car for any length of time would be a hardship. Also, although I could have it inspected and keep the current car..I want another. I can't see putting big bucks into it either which no doubt it would be for the inspection. I guess I am just going to have to keep saving for a bit. I saw a car at a low cost dealership that looked good, but they don't take credit cards, and cash advance prices are high on the card, although it is a zero interest card.
