The Bottom Line and, of course Rump

I have done some thinking over the last few days. For the last several months I have tried to inform people about what an awful human I think Rump is and the reasons I have been so concerned about a second term.
In my quest to let people know the concerns I have about this human, I have gotten long, drawn-out comments from one member trying to teach me about inflation and some rather nasty comments from a couple of others. I have pondered about this. I wasn't great in school and, when I was there I slept through history and got d's in math. But I excelled in English. I was extremely shy and introverted and school wasn't a good place for me. I quit to take a writing course. Perhaps this has something to do with why I might be a bit skewed when it comes to some topics. I shouldn't write about such things.
I have seen Rump in the media for many years. When I started to post about him I read up about his background and wasn't really surprised by the things I found. I don't like D*ck Swingers and he is a major one. But, far be it from his narcissistic personality there are also the facts that loom large. He is a felon, a racist, a woman hater, and has fascist tendencies. Sure he may get things done. But at what price? Whatever it takes? Really? Aren't we better than that? I, personally, want a man of honor and integrity in office.
I was brought up being taught the difference between right and wrong, and how to treat people. I also learned from my grandmother about being patriotic. I am proud to be an American and I want to see a man in the White House who we all can be proud to have represent our country.
This human that is about to take the helm is none of this. I see people concerned about what is going to happen to this country and many are already sorry they voted for him. He's not even in office yet.
So, I am going to try to make things lighter. That is what we are here for, right? Light fare to discuss. Oh, and please remember. Feel free to move on down the row of posts if you don't care for the topic I have chosen. Okay?
I hope you are all warm and cozy and having a good day.

Sounds like my view but I do not explain it so well because it does not seem to work with them. It may for the rest of the world. All we can hope, this country done gave up is all I see. All this crap about a winning attitude seems to be a bunch of bs.

@crossbones27 I continue to worry about the small folks, the vulnerable peeps, the children. If we gut Medicare for instance, who is going to care for them? Its bad now but oh it could be a lot worse if its gutted. Trump followers had the chance to show that they cared for their neighbors as they screamed elect Trump!!! I did not see any Trump followers smiling and handing out food to the homeless etc.

@sallypup I 200 percent agree but these people do not seem to care about anything or anyone. They repeat what we say about Trump. He is cold cruel and full of hate, yet none of our leaders did or going to do what he will do. They have no heart period.

@crossbones27 He must be finding ways to threaten them and their families. Its a Stephen King novel all the way. He gets the tinest bit of dirt on the Republicans and threatens to take them down with it. There is something going on behind the scenes.

Many of us, people from other countries, are worried.

Many supporters don't care what he is personally. They still want him for what he allegedly can do in the office of the president. I care about the integrity of the man that runs our country. Have a good weekend.

You haven't informed everyone. You have tried to force feed your thoughts and feelings to other people. It's America. You can't force people to think the way you want them to. That's why Harris didn't get elected. Because people are thinking for themselves.

Not trying to force people. Just frustrated with those who don't see the obvious. It will all come out and karma's a b*tch.
