I always drink coffee in the morning, but since I seem to have a bit of larnygitis or something I switched to tea with honey this AM. Honey is great for throats since it is a natural antibiotic. I am gonna have some coffee in a little while though. I was up North yesterday looking for cars, and having a birthday burger at Red Robin, when I decided to go the Super Target. They had had gingerbread coffee in their ad. I thought that sounds different and delicious. Wouldn't you know it...they were sold out
. I did get hot buttered rum coffee though..that sounds pretty delicious too. I talked to friend this AM his BP was 135/70. 
. That is delightful. I think I got him in the habit of taking it everyday now.

I plan on calling him everyday to get BP info. Part of the reason he doesn't take good care of himself, is that he thinks no one really cares.

@anya12adwi Unless you buy something from a farmer or something specifically labeled as real, raw unfiltered honey it is probably fake .especially if it is cheap or in a cutesy bottle.

Oh bummer that flavor as sold out. Doesn’t sound like a flavor I would like. I always start with coffee in the morning as well m. Our power is out though so I had to boil water left in the fridge to make tea in the teapot. It isn’t the same I’m exhausted!

@snowy22315 we got a very wet heavy snow. Knocked trees down on just about every road. ETA is possibly Sunday at 11pm they aren’t even sure at this point but I’m hoping much sooner.

Power outage...yuk, that's the pits. It just got real windy here as I was writing that so hope it doesn't happen to us. Do you have snow?

We do the honey thing when we feel something in our throats too. Hope you enjoyed your coffee . . . I think I'd rather the hot buttered rum than the gingerbread anyway. Hey, that's good health progress for your friernd - thanks to you!!

Yeah, throat feeling pretty good now, but it hurt this morning I am still having a bit of laryngitis though. I don't quite sound like myself
