Cold Morning

It was a little below freezing this morning. But not enough to freeze water in the chicken pool. So I didn't need to do anything special.
The pellet burner ran all night. We thought it would but with turning the furnace up we wasn't sure. Thought it might get warm enough to turn it off.
It is supposed to get in the 40s this afternoon. I hope so. That will be a heat wave. I also need to clean the pond pump. I didn't want to do that yesterday.

In a Florida house with no central heating, it was space heater time and I woke up coughing and sputtering, The cats slept on chairs in the sunshine all day, I hope you have a good start to the weekend,

We made it up to 42 degrees, so the snow is gone. Now it’s just dreary with nothing going on outside.
I am being stingy this winter so far. We went almost a month without heat or air on because the inside temperature stayed about 68-70. Saved a lot on the bills! I know when it gets really cold, the furnace will run more.
