A bit of good news for a change

Now, although this is a good thing and I am happy about it, but instead of my mortgage holders doing the responsible thing and reducing my mortgage payment I had to call them and complain about it. Long story short, my mortgage had gone up several months ago 150 dollars. I have since had both my property tax and homeowners insurance amount reduced. I switched insurance companies for one, got some degree of tax relief from the other. They kept my payment the same even though they told me verbally it would be changed the next month. I kept expecting to get a letter. I finally called them today. I should have before but I hate talking to them. Anyway, they said starting Dec. 2 it will be reduced at last. I should get credit for the months I overpaid too. However, I bet that will require another phone call.

Yes, I should have definetly had a reduction in payment before this, instead they decided to sit on it.

Sounds like it all works out in the end but so frustrating they raised it and all that hassle having to call them.

You have no idea what a PIA this whole thing was. I so wish I could change mortgage providers, but doubtful I would be able to qualify for refinance. Hopefully, once the bill is reduced and I am paid back for any money I overpaid..things will be good for awhile.

Yes, it is but it is hard to be too happy about it because this should have been done completely 2 or 3 months ago at least.. I will try to be happy about this though, especially if I get the months back I overpaid it will be good. However, I have the feeling, I will have to talk to them again for that.
