I DID IT!!! Bought the cake.

I mean "a" cake. I don´t know when and if my cousin will come. But meanwhile I´ll eat as much cake until Humberto comes back and gives me a prescription for a blood test for sugar.
I have not felt well and it could be a thousand reasons. But just in case I should not eat sugar ladden cakes in the future, I´ll do like the lasyt meals of the people in death row.
I also discovered a package of 10 tiny meat empanadas (made for cocktails). I bought a package and heated 4 delicious ones that I am eating.
So now I´m mylotting while I eat the empanadas and have a cup of coffee at my side.
Later on, I´ll go and cut a piece of cake. I only put away the food that needed freezing.
For the moment, I´ll mylot and rest. Luna is fed and so am I.

But as soon as Humberto comes back, I´ll ask him for a prescription. I won´t pay for a docotr to write on a piece of paper.

I did not eat cake often when I was younger. But then I baked my own cakes and I was lazy. Now that I have discovered that this cake is not so expensive, it is easy to just order it.
I will wait until tomorrow.

Haven't had Empanadas since I left Mexico. My mother-in-law made them and they were soooo good. I miss them and the fresh white corn tortillas. I wanted to buy a pack of my lemon cake slices to day, but they were out. Walmart was Packed. I don't think I have seen that many cashiers in months!

I always have some tortillas in the fridge although I prefer the wheat ones. It is easy to make a couple of quesadillas fir breakfast. And many times I add a tiny bit of diced bunch onions to spice them up. Yesterday they did not have my cake. So I decided that I would not order groceries. But today I remembered that sometimes they have it again the next day. So I checked and they had it.

@marguicha I think I will go back to Walmart tomorrow and see if they have my Lemon Cake slices.
