Yesterday, Eric Trump went to England and said, "America isn't going to be stupid anymore." The world replied, "Duh! On Election Day, you achieved Peak Stupid. There is no more stupid left for you to be. The only path left for you is clearly marked "Not Stupid. #TrumpMustDieInPrison." That is a very nice thought. But, when you're living in the middle of the swirling clouds of the Stupid Hurricane, as I am, it's hard to see well-defined edges like that. I'm comforted a little, though, knowing that my friends on the other side of the aisle are being torn up by the same foul winds. Like the Matt Gaetz fiasco, for example. Less than a full day after Trump announced that everything was going well and a further announcement that, come heck or high water, he alone was going to decide his Cabinet, Matt said, "Not so fast, big guy. I quit. The Senate is deciding this one." This came right after he announced that he wanted Rick Scott to be the new Senate Majority Leader. Or else. And the Republicans in the Senate said, "Or else what, you whiny little hussy? You know when your cult calls Ivanka, 'The MAGA Princess,' they're wrong. Cause the Princess is you," as they elected John Thune for the job. What is DonOld going to do about that humiliating defeat ((John Thune has a history of loudly disagreeing with Diaper Don))? Nothing. He's going to take it lying down. Just like a dog that's been shot by Kristi Noem. And all MAGA can do is impotently watch as he lies there, whimpering and bleeding out. Will Princess Donny ever win any battles with the Senate? Maybe. Recess Appointments, which he's also demanding, are still on the table. That would be good news for him if the table weren't as skaky, unstable and unreliable as Donny himself.
