I am not a big reader. When I was growing up, I read more Stereo Review and Stereophile magazines than novels not assigned in some torturesome English class.
But when the dust settled, I admired the works Mark Twain, Jane Austen, Leo Tolstoy, Earnest Hemingway, and several others.
One of my favorite authors was P.G. Wodehouse. I believe he was British, and that he settled in New York for many years. His books about Bertie and Jeeves always cracked me up.
Tonight I was able to find (on the interweb) one of the early chapters about Bertie and Jeeves. My Wodehouse books seem to have all disappeared, probably lent to friends who would return them "in a coupe of weeks."
Are you familiar with Wodehouse's wrings about Bertie and Jeeves? Do you have favorite authors?

Yes, I've read Wodehouse books. My two favorite authors right now are Robin Cook and Michael Crichton. Nora Roberts is good too. I read a lot of classics when I was in high school. When you HAVE to read them, they aren't so enjoyable. Have a good weekend.
